The space beneath allows he to hold some stationary that would otherwise get shifted around different areas on the desk. It works perfectly well as a desktop extension to a laptop. In other words, it helped me somewhat organise my desk and my workflows. I'm definitely happy with the device.

This desktop riser has solved the problem of not having to constantly reach the back of my iMac for the various outlets. I also like that it helps to keep my desk clean since I can neatly tuck the keyboard and trackpad underneath the riser.

Big enough for what I need

This monitor stand is really great. It feels sturdy and secure and can hold a pretty big monitor. It feels strong, it seems really sturdy and firm. usbs and other small equipment . I got it so that he could make some space on his desk , but that was the point of this. Once he is done reorganizing the desk I am sure it will look much better and he will have additional space. So, if you need extra space and have a bit of a cluttered area, I would highly recommend this monitor stand to anyone
